Finally getting around to reading some of the classic Ruby books and improving my design & testing skills. Even though I'm pretty proud of my code, it's hard not to want to rewrite everything.

Can anyone tell me why I see so many content warnings about eye contact on Mastodon? Are there specific groups that are sensitive to that?

I find this highly discriminating... where's the "I'm totally a robot, thanks for noticing" checkbox?!

Imagine a world without opensource, and the only operating system that exists is Windows.

I seriously wonder: would I still be as excited about computers & tech? Would I have moved on and found another profession in life?
