Does anyone have tips (or ideas) on how to get Ruby contracting jobs that do not involve Rails?
@cllns I wish I had a better answer because pickings are slim but sometimes the various Ruby job sites will have search criteria for Ruby or alternative web stacks but they don't appear very often.
Your best bet is looking overseas (especially Europe) as I see more opportunity there than in the US. This does mean dealing with time zones and foreign currency exchange, though.
It's never too early for a Hanami Jobs project. 
@dcrossney Unfortunately I think it is too early for that. I'd love to make that eventually though
Maybe. Maybe we should buy some chickens if we want to eat eggs. 
I'm fighting for time right now, but this has definitely been kicking around in my head for a while.
