@jeffowski Well, yeah. That's the whole point of software since "Expert Systems;" to crystallize expertise, alienating it from experts. Then the experts can retire, and the next generation can develop novel expertise.

For 2.), they don't actually get to retire, as they're there to ensure that when it goes off the rails, they can point out it went off the rails, and figure out why.
