Damn! I just realised that #Disqus now injects ads of their own into my personal ad-free blog.
I guess I have to disable comments till I find an alternative and have the time to migrate to it. I know gisqus is one, but will need to look at it.

On the topic of unconventional comment solutions: I've pondered about using mastodon posts and replies as a comment section, but it felt waaay too clunky.
@onghu Do drop them ASAP as they might cheat you out of your advertising income.

I have dropped them because I myself don't have any advertising revenue. I will eventually move, probably to giscus.
@onghu Great idea! We wound up doing without but I will check out Giscus!
