UnCoveredMyths<p>I rememebr when <a href="https://writing.exchange/tags/Publishers" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Publishers</span></a> and <a href="https://writing.exchange/tags/Agents" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Agents</span></a> would throw fits about <a href="https://writing.exchange/tags/Authors" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Authors</span></a> having other people send <a href="https://writing.exchange/tags/Submissions" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Submissions</span></a> in for them.</p><p>Yet, they block blind people and deafblind people from sending in submissions by requiring <a href="https://writing.exchange/tags/Capthuas" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Capthuas</span></a>.</p><p>I guess they only want sighted submitters. Even if they claim to want to read work from all authors.</p>

What I don't want is to just _license_ the (temproary) right of reading that book on a (temporary) _licensed_ device.<br>I want the freedom to gift that ebook, the same way I gift a physical book. ></p>
