To Liberals saying Cory Booker did something this week, I ask what did he do? what did he accomplish? Did he stop a bill? Did he bring the deported back?

You all give too much credit where barely any is due. He literally helped confirm the Presidents current Secretary of State.

This was performative, and unproductive, IE "good trouble". I want our politicians to make real trouble as the opposition!

Every single time a Republican has been President during my lifetime (since the late 1970's), my goals and dreams have had to be set aside to deal with the reality that they are a bunch of greedy idiots who want money and power.

I realize I say this from a place of privilege as a middle aged white guy. But I struggle too.

Let's come together and become #Independent. Let's get a political platform together and start a new party. Ally with #Democrats and show them that moving to the liberal left and having progressive planks will build a foundation for a stronger, more resilient #democracy. One that will survive #facism and #Trump
