Today's mental health exercise:
I invested some time and blocked some (N=13) rude GTK devs from my life. Fediverse, Github, Gitlab, Codeberg, and their emails were added to spam list.
Before this I only had ever blocked 3 people in my entire online life, but today I felt it is necessary for my own peace of mind to do this cleansing.
Less rude and self-centered egomaniac people in life would definitely improve life quality. 
Now back to my research 
Thinking of certain specific aspects of the situation trigger it consistently, so I'm somewhat in control. What I'm wondering is how desensitized to those things I can get and how long it takes. That's what I meant. I find this fascinating. I expect if I thought about them consistently every day for a few more days and slept well enough, they'll become boring thoughts, maybe even the actual scenarios would also be less triggering. I wish there was a handbook on this.

too narrow, when it fails to appreciate mental health issues are often related to social context & it is these contexts that need attention not just the individual's experience of them;
too general, when its assumed people can just take 'any job'; a better fit between work & worker is needed!
