🔞 Markus Wetzlmayr :mastodon:<p>The lenses are a mixed bag.</p><p>The <a href="https://mastodon.art/tags/Nikkor" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Nikkor</span></a> AF 35-70 f/3.3-4.5 (non-D) is super annoying to use. I never liked variable aperture zooms. Especially with film cameras.</p><p>One of the MF Super Cosina 35-135 has some serious mold in it. I'll blast it with UV light, just to deactivate the mold and stop it from spreading. But I think it's a goner.</p><p>The other Super Cosina 35-135 seems decent for what it is. Nothing I'll ever use outside a <a href="https://mastodon.art/tags/ShittyCameraChallenge" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ShittyCameraChallenge</span></a> (which I can now participate in! Yey! 🥳 )</p>

Light meter gives realistic values and spot-checking it with my external light meter seems decent.</p><p>The <a href="https://mastodon.art/tags/NikonF401S" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>NikonF401S</span></a> had some serious corrosion in the battery compartment. Cleaned it off with some rubbing alcohol, now it detects the batteries and even focusses with the <a href="https://mastodon.art/tags/Nikkor" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Nikkor</span></a> AF 35-70mm f/3.3-4.5. BUT it won't recognize the (DX-coded) roll of Tri-X I put in. Bummer.</p>
