David AllanI think I was given the role of 'shepherd' in the school Nativity (one of many), instructed to watch over the flock by night. Such amateur dramatics have meant that the central message of Christmas has always held a special place. Amazing how the biblical account of that night in Bethlehem has inspired so much art and music. CaroleHeidiToday I was one of the wise men in the nativity at church. I had to balance my crown on my ears otherwise it fell down my face, and I had to ride a hobbyhorse style camel which had an amusingly long nose. Never too old. Apart from when you are 11, and then you are definitely too old to do anything other than make the donkey hoof noises with a coconut because it’s embarrassing.
