I picked a new bird a few days ago but I haven’t had the time/energy to continue it. Also I draw these for fun so I try really hard not to pressure myself, which is not easy haha

Hello from an undisclosed location on the road. I have a new OC drawing started. I spent about 45 minutes just on the first pass of the planet. It has actual geography (there's a map) but to then draw it on a sphere. It's a whole process

I fired the glaze firing today and am now waiting FOREVER to see how it went. Currently at like 650 F so maybe it’ll be cool enough in the morning. But I don’t want to hear any pings so I’m going to wait til it’s like 100 F.

I miss Iceland and won't be seeing it for quite some time.

Still such a privilege to immerse myself into its breathtaking landscape every day

Testing some new cutaway shots, which also gives me a chance to show off some of the set work.

This poster for an upcoming anniversary combines two vintage public domain art works, an original diagram, and some typography to create a little space center atmosphere.

I received an order for a set of greeting cards with an original design (the person had previously bought a set of my bamboo greeting cards).

I thought for a long time about what the new design should be, dilly-dallied for a while, finished another project, and am finally getting back to the greeting cards.

I've settled on fantasy flower watercolors. I paint a single page of 12x9 in watercolor paper, then cut it into fourths. Each one will go on a greeting card with washi tape embellishments. I have 8 so far. Going to do one more big page (which will make 4 more cards) and email the person some pictures to see if they like it. Hopefully they'll say yes!

But in the meantime, I wanted to share with you the in-progress cards.
