THIS is how to Saturday night.
45ml Cachaça
22.5ml Yellow Chartreuse (or génépy liqueur)
15ml Honey syrup (3 honey to 1 water)
15ml Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
15ml water
Store in freezer for a couple of hours then pour yourself a good coupe and garnish with a lime wedge.
I confirm it's a really good one.

I'm bartending a birthday party this afternoon. Here's the drinks list. I have found that Izarra, a Basque green herbal liqueur from France, is a reasonably decent green Chartreuse substitute in many drinks. The yellow chartreuse was a gift from the party hosts, so I will be using the real thing.

Of the three Czech-inspired #cocktails I served, this one was my favorite: the Prague Old Fashioned.
1 1/2 oz rye
1/3 oz Becherovka
1 dash angostura bitters
If I were making it at home in an actual rocks glass, I'd pour it a bit heavier, and I'd use a single large ice cube.
