Productive night! Managed to install two Heltec radios inside my RPi4 and now Edgemap does Meshtastic and Reticulum (LoRA) both on same unit! Working also on Reticulum LINK support. It's going to be really interesting. And yes, updated kernel to 6.11 series along the way. This all soon at my Github [1] for free & open source. Some UI video also here [2]

Reticulum or Meshtastic ? This is tough question but here my takeaways:
◆ Meshtastic: Good LoRA hardware support, unstable API's and versions. Bad for opsec (node DB in device ). Pretty isolated to Meshtastic bubble. Mobile App's are opsec nightmare.
◆ Reticulum: Less LoRA hardware support, rock solid functionality. Better for opsec (you need only to swallow host MicroSD). Messaging crosses domains (IP,LoRA, Voice).
◆ Maybe I should implement reticulum support for Edgemap.

Added Reticulum along Meshtastic to my Edgemap project. Edgemap is small embedded Linux firmware for RaspberryPi4 providing full world street level map off line stored on single 256 GB MicroSD. You can carry this capability in small pouch and set it up without Telcos or Satellites. Reticulum is interesting addition to fast paced tactical communication over different mediums and requires zero configuration. This all available from my Github [1] free and open source. Illustrated also here excellent reticulum-meshchat project [2] which is now onboard on my Edgemap!
