Peter Drake HAS MOVED<p>I have to choreograph my number for next week's New Student Orientation fire show, but there are two problems:</p><p>1) Because of the crispy landscape, the Fire Marshal has a burn ban on. This has happened for at least the last six years, so we have LED props we can spin.</p><p>2) Because of wildfires, the air quality is too low to engage in vigorous aerobic activity outdoors. This excellent introductory juggling video implicitly notes a counterintuitive phenomenon that I discovered when learning to toss Samoan fireknives: it's easier to catch if you toss *higher*, because you have more time to observe the trajectory.
