Momo Wandel Soumah (1926-2003) was a Guinean singer, saxophonist and composer. He began playing in dance bands during the 50s, but later developed an idiosyncratic style best described as Afro swing, mixing #Jazz and various local #music styles.
This is Arné, in which we hear bala, saxophone, tambin (Fulani flute), upright bass, drum kit, and Momo Wandel's iconic gravelly voice.
