Gif is a truly terrible format and nowhere near as efficient as h.264/mp4.<br>So you can do your local instance admin a favour by keeping your uploads reasonably small AND you can keep your uploads good quality by uploading mp4s. <br>From what I can tell they're high profile yuv 420p, at about 10mb/s for HD. I'm not sure if it re-encodes</p>
