Nicolas Hoizey“Los Haitises National Park”<br>

It's no coincidence that Los Haitises National Park has been dubbed the “Halong Bay of the Caribbean”. Located in the Bay of Samana, this little-known natural park is mainly discovered by sea, as it is very difficult to reach by road. It is made up of thick tropical forest, mangrove swamps and dozens of islets, some of which are covered in cactus.<br>
<br>
One of the great attractions of this paradise is the largest mangrove area in the Caribbean, with species such as red mangrove and white mangrove. Cedar and mahogany trees, as well as orchids of various species, complete an extraordinary array of plants.<br>
<br>
As for the fauna, you can't miss the huge number of birds that populate the national park, especially in Cayo de los Pájaros, a favorite haunt for species such as the gannet, pelican and parrot, among many others.<br>

The Zapatista Army of National Liberation (EZLN) shared a video in which young people and children from 12 to 20 years of age explain in Tzeltal, Tzotzil, Tojolabal and Cho’ol how to make different materials, baskets, musical instruments, among other objects, based on “the knowledge they have inherited from their parents, grandparents, great-grandparents and so on for generations.</p><p>The common thread of their creations, explained the EZLN, “is the repudiation of capitalism, preparing to survive the storm and, the day after, trying to build a new world”. “The school where they learned this knowledge is in the hearts of their fathers, mothers and predecessors,” added the Zapatistas in the communiqué, published in the framework of the “Rebel and Revel” Art Encounter, which began this April 13 in the Zapatista caracol Jacinto Canek.</p><p>The video shows the young people explaining the making of their baskets with materials “from mother earth”; paintings with inks made with earth and different types of plants to obtain the colors, partitions made with plants and earth; pots, plates, platters; making ‘calhidra’; musical instruments such as drums and flutes that they use for music in their communities’ festivities; “morraletas” and bags; making fire, among other objects and materials.</p><p>The Rebel and Revel Encounter has brought together more than a thousand artists, musicians, filmmakers, poets, sculptors, dancers and radio broadcasters from Zapatista communities and other parts of Mexico and the world, such as Germany, Brazil, France, Greece, Palestine, Peru and Sudan. With their broad wings and long beaks, brown pelicans are clumsy on land, but the largest pelicaniformes have a rare elegance in the air and a formidable efficiency when they dive to fish in the seas around the American continent.<br>
<br>
On the coastline, brown pelicans frolic from dawn to dusk. Bathing birds, they spend most of the day catching their daily two kilos of fish. In disorderly squadrons, they play on wind currents, then swoop down from a height of 30 m on schools of sardines and anchovies. This species frequently follows fishing boats.<br>
<br>
Their expandable gular pouch is tinged with red and green during courtship.<br>

They celebrate in a tacky and racist costume bought with the stolen riches of the Black and Indigenous peoples. White supremacists should not feel safe as long as they actively work for the destruction of our Black, Indigenous, queer safety. It is not difficult to find their emails, addresses and employers. Use the tools at your disposal (not just a useless rally) to prevent these fools from using public resources for shit. Let us completely stop their racist, xenophobic, Islamophobic, homophobic and antisemitic beliefs.</p><p>At one point on the night of April 12, a group of people interested in achieving this goal visited one, Timothy Pilgrim, who is the commander of the Georgia division of the Sons of Confederate Veterans at his house in Marietta, GA, in the 20 Old Fuller Mill Road. We painted the sayings “NO RALLY” and “NO SCV” on their house, their windows and their entrance, we poured lawn killer in his front yard, stuck glue in his front lock, and left a piece of roadkill on his welcome carpet. We knew that these cowards would quickly move to cover their humiliation, so we also take photos to share them with you. Although the quality is low, we hope that our anger can be seen clearly.</p><p>House calls have long been one of the favorite tactics of South white supremacists. They used intimidation and humiliation to bully, threaten and sometimes even kill members of the community. Well, anarchists can also make house calls. Consider this our burning cross.
