Kubernetes Storage Without the Pain: Simplyblock in 15 Minutes

Whether you're building a high-performance cloud-native app or running data-heavy workloads in your own infrastructure, persistent storage is necessary. In Kubernetes, this means having storage that survives pod restarts, failures, and rescheduling events—and that’s precisely what simplyblock brings to the table: blazing-fast, scalable, and software-defined storage with cloud economics. A hyper-converged storage solution, like simplyblock enables Kubernetes storage par excellence. In […]

How having an online backup saved my home server today

I have a physical server running at home that has a few services running on it, including Nginx Proxy Manager to route external network traffic to an OpenWebRx SDR that I host at home. The server boots off its own NVMe internal drive, but has two 4 ...continues

4 reasons you may want to use Virtual Hard Disks instead of partitioning storage, or not

Hey #MiniaturePainting peeps, how do you feel about the different paint #storage solutions and what different sizes of bottles do you end up with.

I'm finally working on getting back to it after *many* years, and am trying to prep and get set up. Aside from general #craft paint 59ml bottles I've grabbed a Vallejo bottle and one of the squat GW citadel base ones for reference.

Saw some #3DPrinting solution in a recent video, but I think I need to design my own.

Next project I've been doing quietly in the background... Custom designing Gridfinity storage and such for the PaintPal system.

Still a lot of organizing to go, but finally have enough shelving to hold things in a handy place. Where the minis temporarily are is to hold paints I am using while painting instead of all over the desk.

I may print the back extensions so I can go 4x5 deep for paint brushes organizers and such.

🚀 Wow, groundbreaking! Forget WebSockets, let's trust our mission-critical app to #JavaScript #PubSub using... *local storage*! 🥴 No server needed, just a leap of faith that your messages won't get lost in the cosmic void of concurrent writes. 🤯 Who needs reliability when you have #DIY #chaos on the same domain? 😂
