"The cries of children, the moans of the wounded and the sick, the groans of the hungry and the displaced are calling out to all living consciences in the world. We call to make this coming Friday, Saturday, and Sunday international days of rage the face of the Israeli occupation and in rejection of American and European facilitation of its actions"

THFP heeds the calls of the Palestinian people and their resistance for a weekend of intense and applied pressure against Israel and the Global Zionist Support network that makes its colonial endeavour and presence possible. We call on all other organisations with capacity to do so to also propose initiatives of various forms, in the Hague and other cities to respond to the urgency of the situation.

Shout-out to my colleagues from Leiden University, University of Applied Sciences Leiden, and mboRijnland, who are striking today in Leiden and The Hague.

They are protesting the announced budget cuts on higher education, and represent the start of a staggered Higher Education strike that will continue at least for the coming five weeks or so.

While #Musk is doing faster, broader, and deeper damage, it's clear that #Trump is still the #lunatic running the #asylum.

He wants to just "take" #Gaza, and permanently #expel all of its inhabitants - which, yes, is a #genocide and a war crime - and says "Everybody I’ve spoken to loves the idea of the United States owning that piece of land".

This is, to put it mildly, insane. Not the kind of stupid insane you normally talk about in #politics. This is the ravings of a Florida Man tweaker after snorting half a pound of "bath salts" and running naked through the alligator pit at Jimmy Jo-Bob's Real Live Animal Park And Beer Tent.

Real war crimes and crimes against humanity, broadcast in advance, with no shame or even recognition that it's controversial, much less a complete violation of international law in any form.

The man needs a padded cell and a first-class ticket to The Hague.
