WDI_USAWDI USA Volunteer Opportunities/Teams: - Volunteer Coordinator Help Needed - Our sole Volunteer Coordinator is in need of assistance. If you would like to help with onboarding, facilitating volunteer meetings, or sending out volunteer communications, please reply. - Email Provider Changeover - WDI USA is switching email providers from SalsaLabs to Muster. This is where we create and send out all of our organizational emails. If you have any experience with using providers like these, with creating email blasts, or if you are willing to learn, help is going to be needed. We will have to import our mailing lists and learn the terrain of the new program. Any computer knowledge is helpful, but not necessary. - State Contacts Needed - We still need contacts in most states. This is not a hard job; it only requires that you check your email regularly and reply to infrequent inquiries about what is happening locally to you. You can make it more interesting by engaging in actions and meetings with reps, but that is not required. Check the map to see if your state needs a contact! - State Legislative Advocacy Team - The SLA team follows and responds to state bills, and organizes its work at the end of each session to produce a report to be proud of. The team coordinator would like another volunteer or two to share some of that important work. Reply for more details. - Media & Grassroots Campaigning Team - The media side of WDI USA is in need of more helping hands. This can involve anything from helping with our social media pages to writing blogs, to creating youtube or podcast content. Graphic design volunteers are always welcome to work on creating WDI USA designs to print on merchandise, share on social media, and to make downloadable on the website. We encourage everyone to distribute WDI USA materials in any and every public place you can. We will send invitations to these meetings to all volunteers, so if you’re interested in working on media, please join. - Black Women’s CR (Consciousness Raising) - A group of Black WDI USA volunteers that meets weekly for consciousness raising. - Lesbian Caucus - A team of lesbian volunteers that meets regularly, advocates for lesbians, and produces official WDI USA lesbian documents and statements. - FOIA Team - Volunteers are currently sending FOIA requests to school districts across America to disclose the materials these schools are using to indoctrinate children about “gender identity”.
