Hello! Time for an . I’m Paul and I’ve been programming in Ruby since 2007. I contributed the function composition operators added in Ruby 2.6 (see ghostcassette.com/function-com) and maintain the re2 gem used in GitLab and Shopify (github.com/mudge/re2). You may have seen me speak at LRUG or be an organiser of London Computation Club but I’ve since moved to the north of England where you’ll occasionally see me running laps of Ilkley Tarn.

www.ghostcassette.comA Guide to Function Composition in Ruby - Ghost Cassette - Software Development ConsultancyIn this post, I will explain Ruby 2.6's “function composition” and how its new operators work, including how you can use them not just with Proc and Method but with any object that implements call.
