I've been a Ruby/Rails developer for ~ 5 years now, and I've never used Capistrano.
I hear people talking about it all the time, like it's something all Ruby devs just know 🤐

@A_rayB Capistrano was a big deal on IaaS like AWS and DigitalOcean. I feel like its peak was 7-8 years ago. These days in the professional world, people begin with Heroku or other PaaS, and then go straight to Ansible / Chef / Terraform / Cloudformation or fancier Docker+Kubernetes. Just my opinion though. So no need to feel bad about not having used Capistrano. 😉
