I pray you teach your child about all the facts of life. I pray that you are not scared to have the difficult conversations with them. I beg of you. Teach your children the basic life skills they need. No one else will.
@ErickaSimone I am concerned about the parents who believe that not speaking about these things is the *virtuous* thing to do, and see it as a part of “protecting the children”.
People who live in a polished world of normalized cruelty, extreme racism, oppression/erasure of nonbinary sexuality - with a permanent porcelain smile.
@andreimoment it’s wild how delusional some people are. The “protect their child’s innocence” to “incompetent humans who can’t function” pipeline is direct.
