Let's call this week - The for Projects.

Share what you are working on this week.
What project are you doing? What ideas you plan to bring to life? What article are you working on?

Plan today 1-2 things that you want to share about your project!

You can do this as simple as just writing a text about it.
You can share a screenshot of the code or the content or the UI.
It does not have to be ready. A lot of people (me included) love to see work in progress, I like to get inspiration from how the things are done.

Here are more ideas about what you can share:
- Your Gemfile content
- A code sample in Ruby that you liked this week
- A gem that you used and you like it
- A lesson learned about OOP
- Something that you plan to build this week
- An insight that you have about your product

A bit more inspiration about why write and show your work in public:

@juraj congrats for creating the blog-on-rails project. I think it is the best way to learn and deep dive into Ruby and Rails.

And also I think it is great that you created your profile on Rails Devs.

BTW if you want to read the source code of a good Rails app github.com/joemasilotti/railsd is a very good choice. It is not very complex, while also going into a lot of the normal/expected problems that one will encounter in a day to day coding in Rails

@lucian Thanks for the tip on a good Rails app. It's a good idea to read someone else's code.

@lucian Our community hype-man! I love it!

@jayroh Truth to be told, someone should take a bit that role, while remaining also grounded.

What I want to do is to help me and others talk more about Ruby and Rails

@lucian I am working on

- upgrading noticed gem to v2 (PR github.com/compassionprojects/) The project I am working on centralises NVC (nonviolent-communication) social change stories into one place. The project is open source.
- Gemfile: github.com/compassionprojects/

I am getting back to rails after over a decade of doing full stack JS and can't be more happier. I just bought POODR and Programming Ruby books to read and establish as a rubyist. I am currently looking for work, as a ROR / full stack dev.

@madhums that Social Change project is a great idea. Congrats for working on it.

And welcome back to Rails! Fingers crossed for finding a job!

@lucian Okay I will bite! Here is my first post with a quick overview of how I used Phlex and Sitepress to make a blog/website williamneal.dev/writing/markdo

Hopefully it will not turn out to be one of those blogs which only has one post describing how the blog was made... sui generis style

for Projects.

@lucian Link should actually work now... that is what you get throwing together a post on your lunch break...
