Took the new carbon frame and some new components out for a test ride.
What surprised me about being back on UK roads wasn't the shit state of them or even the awful drivers it was litter. Don't think i registered it before, but after being away it's all i could see.

I can't find a clear answer via web search: can I cycle via roads with signs reading "No through road" in the UK?

What is it about the rain that turns ordinary drivers into blinkered maniacs?
I can #cycle without any incident for WEEKS but, as soon as it starts raining, I get close pass after close pass. I had FOUR in the 10 minutes of riding to the pharmacy and back.
