One of the most frustrating developments of the last decade or so is the fast-food-isation of ethnic restaurants. In the 1990s you could get a kebab, or a curry, about as cheap as a bullshit burger, and it was healthy food, made to a fairly traditional recipe. Now it costs more, and every second kebab shop or curry house is some kind of eastern McDonalds, with metric fudgetons of sugar added to all the sauces, dressings, breads, etc.
