The Company also owns Stelco here in my city, #HamOnt. Our city has ~30,000 people who work for Stelco and they are in the direct line of sight for these tariffs. The city will be devastated if it goes on too long.
The CEO for Cleveland-Cliff has toed the line and said it will be good for steel in North America.
Tough for #Canada and #Stelco. Over the last few years, the government and company have invested millions on moving to low carbon, non-coal heat generation , to reduce the climate impact.
