@mattblaze Thank you for that COMMENT! We need to keep the focus of the real victims. Here is a graphic I made of Rudy's active avoidance & legal f*ckery around the assets he has NOT turned over.

@Brandi_Buchman Rudy's new lawyer is claiming this framed DiMaggio jersey that he got in 2002 at the 3rd Annual Joe DiMaggio Awards Gala Honoring Rudy Giuliani, (was hanging in his NY Penthouse apt). is ‘wearing apparel’ & is exempt. under New York law because the homestead state can't "take the shirt off of a man's back." This was set up for regular people to have clothing to wear to work.

This is BS, & #Rudy needs to be charged with contempt for his failure to turn over his assets.

One of the reasons I LOVE this article from @Brandi_Buchman huffpost.com/entry/rudy-giulia about #Rudy Giuliani 's lawyers quitting is because it gives CONTEXT to #Giuliani' s crimes he's legally required to pay for.

It's also a reminder that the "punch a bully back & they back down" model doesn't work with these people. When they lose they flip the script to claim THEY are the victims! We can't let Rudy control the narrative.

"The women sued Giuliani for defamation in 2021 & at trial they testified about the damage he did. The said they were forced to go into hiding & had received death threats, including vows to lynch them; Freeman was forced to move from her longtime home & give up on her small business out of concern for her safety; Moss’ son struggled in school as his mother’s name was dragged through the mud."

I think #RudyGiuliani has been figuring that if you never stop #FA, you never get to the #FO part. I'm not so sure.

It seems his #lawyers in the defamation #damages case have finally reached their risk tolerance limit for "get sanctioned so hard the Bar Association won't even return your emails", because they withdrew citing a procedure rule that is "because the client is currently breaking the law and if I don't quit I'll go to prison too".

#Rudy #Giuliani was under oath in court today to explain why he hasn't turned over his assets to Freeman & Moss. The judge described Giuliani's responses to asset inquiries as "farcical."
There were NO cameras in the courtroom, but there WERE cameras outside & Rudy wasn't under oath then when he LIED & claimed political persecution in the $148M case he LOST to #Freeman & #Moss.

Today, Nov 5th, he showed up at Trump's polling place in West Palm Beach being driven in this car.

Grand Theft auto in the 1st Degree in Florida is punishable by up to 30 years of prison time, including a $10,000 maximum fine. These penalties are applicable if the property has a value of $100,000 or more.

JUST IN: Ruby Freeman & Shaye Moss say they think Rudy #Giuliani is hiding his property from them in violation of court orders. The judge in their case is demanding Rudy show up in person for a hearing Thursday

Freeman and Moss took possession of his penthouse last week, they probably changed the locks.

This is relevant because today #Rudy showed up to Trump’s polling station in the Mercedes convertible he was ordered to surrender to them.

How California’s Portuguese community may tip the balance of power in Congress

Far away from the centers of power in Washington, a small but sizable Portuguese population has played a meaningful role in shaping the Central Valley
— and the community’s politics could prove crucial in determining which party controls Congress in November’s election.

Republicans must hold on to four seats in the House of Representatives to retain a majority.

In deep-blue California,
half a dozen congressional seats are considered swing districts,
and two of them are held by Portuguese Republicans in the Central Valley.

Reps. John Duarte and David Valadao continue a tradition of Portuguese farmers representing the region in Congress as Republicans.

Costa, also of Portuguese descent, is running for reelection in a safely Democratic district this November.

Although the Portuguese are now generations deep in the Valley, many are still close to their immigrant family roots.

And in many ways, the story of Portuguese people in California
— just over 350,000, according to the 2020 U.S. census
— follows the arc of many immigrant groups in the U.S.

The Portuguese politicians vying to represent the region know their audience. Valadao, whose parents emigrated from the Azores, speaks Portuguese and Spanish, as a result of growing up on a dairy farm alongside Mexican farmworkers, Borges said.

Valadao also rarely pronounces his last name with the nasal Portuguese ending akin to Vala-downg, Borges said.

The only time he heard Valadao use the Portuguese pronunciation was on a trip to Lisbon, Borges recalled, adding,

“It’s always Vala-day-oh here.”

“If David did not have the bond with the Hispanic community, he would not be able to be elected,” Borges said.

Valadao is running against Democratic Assemblymember #Rudy #Salas, the son of farmworkers who would become the region’s first Latino representative in Congress if elected.

The population in Valadao’s 22nd Congressional District is 60% Latino.

Salas, who lost by about 3,100 votes in the 2022 election, has also courted the Portuguese community by promoting Portuguese Heritage Month in the state Legislature.

A huge #Defamation judgment against #Rudy #Giuliani in #RubyFreeman #ShayeMoss case IS GREAT because, like Trump, he kept defaming after losing.

Rudy: What ever happened to them which is it's unfortunate if other people overreacted. But everything I said about them was true.

Great News! When we have won #defamation cases for big money, I hear, "Yah, good luck getting them to pay." #Rudy tried, he lied & failed.

Yes, it takes time.
But #RubyFreeman & Moss also won against OAN & Gateway Pundit. They were sealed, so we don't know the amount. But they also included stipulations to remove ALL the defaming information.
