The One Size Surprise

If we sit beside one another in the classroom
Does that mean we both learn the same lesson?
What connects in my mind depends on my brain's loom,
Weaving my knowledge with stuff from this session.

You sit there beside me with your own separate view
Of that blackboard before us with the teachers scrawl.
Then comes the test. Which answers are true?
The moment we find out, "One size does not fit all."
