Tonight's example, that finally got me to toot about it... packaging.

The #poetry documentation for #pyproject.toml describes the #include and #exclude config lists. exclude is #automagically pre-populated with the entries from your VCS ignore file, but, and I quote:

"Explicitly declaring entries in include will negate VCS' ignore settings."

Wanna bet on it? I have an entry in my .gitignore file for `docs`. I explicitly list it in `include`.

Okay, the single VM currently powering #mastodon and my #hugo blog is scheduled to shutdown at 22:30 tonight. At 23:00 the bare metal will shutdown. This should give the VM plenty of time to shutdown safely. I realize I could probably keep things up a little longer but I'd rather be safe than sorry. The last time I fucked up my instance it was beyond repair. I just got lucky that the #fediverse #automagically reconnected me with my followers. Yeah, I am not going through that headache again.
