New house things: some bits left over from previous owners that we want rid of. Some small bits, some furniture.

Is there a charity shop / service in Dublin we can donate to that might collect from us? And/or what might usually be done? Plenty here that I'd expect could be useful to someone, but we've enough to be doing without individually listing and selling/giving away on adverts.ie or wherever.

Thousands line streets of Cork as Dragon of Shandon returns for its latest Halloween

From Church Street, under the shadow of St Anne’s, some 400 participants from 20 community groups turned out while giants and monsters lurched down Shandon Street, across the river to North Main Street and down the Coal Quay.

Recently here in Cork 2 Masters students from India were attacked: “Suddenly a guy just threw a plastic rope around his neck and tried to strangle him."

"They're just buying groceries. They're surrounded by four people who were abusing them. Telling them to go back to their country."

“I'm shocked by this. I'm here since 2008 and it's only in the last six months that I am hearing of this type of thing”
