Ok, I'm trying to figure out how to direct warp my RHL with a "crammed" pattern (i.e., two strands through each slot and hole). Weirdly I can't find any videos on this?

It seems like I could just pull a loop through each slot and hole and then cut and tie on. OR I could pull two loops through each slot, cut, and sley by pulling two ends through the hole.

Am I missing something? Fellow weavers, what's our bat-signal to call for help? :)

As I’m doing simple fringe for the first time on this scarf, I see why hem stitching is so lovely. This is gonna be mostly done once I finish these overhand knots, and the hem is really solid without any additional work. Just will need to trim the fringe, wash the fabric (pray some of it shrinks as it’s a weeeeee bit skeezy in some spots) and trim the joins. But no hemming.

Also I hope it shrinks because right now it’s kinda more “small blanket sized” on me than “shawl sized”. 🤣😂 #weaving

Finally hem stitching the end in prep for cutting off, I’ve been avoiding this for over a month because videos didn’t make sense to me. Thanks to the Swiss Cows search engine for finding me a fucking WRITTEN and clear tutorial for how to do it! #RigidHeddle #weaving

from a profile draft, I can substitute all kinds of blocks and structures, creating a stable and functional cloth with the same overall design

these three are Crackle (4 shafts), Huck Lace (6 shafts), and Double Two-Tie twill (10 shafts)
