The reason why your Linux install does not respect your themes, layout, or even your mouse pointer, is because you're likely using Gnome with Flatpak.

One of the many reasons why I suggest KDE Plasma. KDE and Flatpak apps work just fine together.

@Linux I am using plasma but my mouse pointer goes huge in certain (gtk)apps. Know any fix? Fedora kde. I observed cursor themeing issue with gtk flatpaks and size issue with gtk dnf apps

@mexicancartel@fosstodon.org KDE added a new feature, that if you shake your mouse fast, it makes the mouse pointer, temporarily larger. It's so you can find your pointer. It is part of the improved accessibility.

A lot of people are unaware of this feature, and trigger it sometimes by mistake. Keep the mouse still for a moment, and it will return to normal. You can disable this in the settings, if it bothers you.

@Linux @mexicancartel I run Fedora Kinoite, and LOTS of GNOME Flatpaks have huge cursors all the time. It is NOT a feature.
