@raupach I also tried our #cursor last week with my Apache Flink pet project (generating tests for a telco protocol). Was quite impressed first, also how it figured things out and (with hints) corrected mistakes. Also how to build the project (oh no maven). Would have been mostly garbage without my knowledge, but lot faster than myself.
The next thing I tried, however (writing Flink code) was just complete mess and never got it nearly right. I was then faster with a web search.

Amigas y amigos del #Fediverso como sobre llevan tener que usar tecnologías que atentan contra su privacidad en el trabajo, últimamente me incomoda demasiado que en mi trabajo nos están haciendo usar “IA” para muchas cosas incluso usar un editor de código #cursor que integra ya #chatgpt pero la verdad me está costando sentirme cómodo con eso, por suerte tengo la computadora del trabajo aparte a mi computadora personal, pero si es algo que no me está dejando trabajar bien

The past couple evenings I've been #vibecoding (what a horrible name) with #cursor - just to see what it is like to use an agent-based #ai to build an app.

I have not been looking at the code, only chatting with the AI to build the app, add features, fix bugs, address build/runtime issues, etc.

За вечер с Cursor написал в один свой пет-проектик столько, сколько не написал за последние полгода-год 🙄

Если бы его ещё можно было напрямую использовать в IDEA - это было бы мегабожественно. А так это просто божественно.
