@Miikka frequently. It is the essence or #RapidPrototyping, which is the system I was trained in forty years ago. Your second clean-sheet cut at a algorithm is always A LOT better than your first, and, although the rate of improvement slows, your third is better than your second. But throw your previous iteration away COMPLETELY – I don't even work in the same #Git repository – or it's very easy for lazy copying to creep in.

@bbak The goal of a paper prototype is not to instantly deliver value to users, but to quickly visualise and validate ideas. Of course, usually it’s not the only prototype which is created within the discovery process.

Here a great example of a very simple 3D mock-up of an iPod: researchgate.net/figure/Early-

Well that’s the pooper upgraded. Just had to reverse a bolt (which will be trimmed with a lathe for more clearance) several go arounds with firmware jank and one totalled build sheet thing which was tired anyway. Probably a bit of tuning for estep and retract but it’s functional and we have direct drive, no more pissing Bowden tubes. #rapidprototyping #ender3 #thisisthehobby

It has been around for a while internally - now we'd like to introduce the ZERO Motor Node to the public!

Our Motor Node is part of our #AMPS (Advanced Modular Prototyping System) and features two powerful H-bridges for PWM motor control. It is controlled via CAN and features an intergrated current measuring sensor for each of the two motor outputs.

It's perfect for vehicle exterior prototyping applications, such as ..

* Door ECUs (electronic door opener, window lifter, locks, mirrors, glass heater),
* Seat ECUs (adjustment of different axes),
* Wipers, blowers, and
* anything else that comes to your mind!

KeyFacts:

✅ Wide range input voltage [9-30V]
✅ 3x status LED
✅ 1x CAN-FD
✅ Automotive-grade connector
✅ 2x H-bridge [15A per Channel]
✅ 2x Current measurement for each channel
✅ 4x digital input
✅ 2x analog input
✅ Vector CANoe simulation and DBC available

I 3D PRINTED A SHOE

And wrote all about it here - (warning this is pretty long) brickstackr.com/posts/stress-t

I worked on a bunch of different #3Dprinting projects yesterday and they're summarized in the blog post but I'm also going to post a bit about them here throughout the morning because it was maybe the most productive I've ever been with it, and I think there's a lot to share that came out of it. #maker #design #rapidprototyping #CAD

As I dive into my weekend project, I have to ask, what DIY projects are you working on?

I've got the firmware for my MIDI control box working, so now I'm moving on to prototype a digital audio mixer! I'll be testing out different input circuits for the built-in ADCs and some I2C ADCs to select the best one for this project.

I've already got a prototype firmware for outputting the resulting audio to my laptop for analysis, so it's all fun and games from here!
