Another photo from our 12-day excursion to Varangerhalvøya National Park, Norway, in April 2024. We enjoyed stunning vistas and fantastic weather throughout the trip. As seen here, the partly cloudy and snowy conditions, combined with the sun peeking through, created a very photogenic environment with incredible lighting.

Let's get this started! Photodump from the Luxembourg trip with The Gath incoming!

Luxembourg is an incredibly pretty city/country, with loads of beautiful architecture, old and destroyed buildings, pretty landscapes, and some very pretty infrastructure. Even though the weather wasn't perfect, I'm quite happy with some of these!

All shot on #sonyalpha a6700 with my Tamron 18-300 lens.

🐦 My first great egret 🇩🇪
📝I had seen great egrets before and photographed them 3-4 times. But the photos were just to show that I had seen some.
ℹ️ The Great White Egret (Ardea Alba) grows up to 100 cm tall and has a wingspan of up to 170 cm. It feeds mainly on amphibians, fish and aquatic insects.

📝Ich hatte schon öfter mal Silberreiher gesehen und auch 3-4 mal fotografiert. Nur waren das eher „Beweißfotos“. Jetzt konnte ich mal einen etwas besser ablichten.
ℹ️ Der Silberreiher (Ardea Alba) wird bis zu 100 cm groß und bekommt eine Spannweite von bis zu 170 cm. Er ernährt sich vor allem von Amphibien, Fischen und Wasserinsekten. Silberreiher sind in Deutschland vor allem Durchzügler, aber es gibt zunehmend Exemplare mit festen Standort.

Springtime Magic of Golden Hour ☀⁠

We're turning our clocks an hour forward this night, which means the evenings will be brighter now and the Sun will set later. I'm so happy about this change; it feels much more like Summer already! Another bonus is later golden hours without needing to hurry going out right as work ends 😄⁠

These golden hour snowdrop photographs were taken exactly in this scenario - as work ended, I hurried out to catch the last of the golden hour. With no time to spare, I managed to get the gorgeous golden orb bokeh in the background of these spring photographs 🥰⁠
