Good morning tooters, welcome to #Friday & a lovely day ahead. It’s around 14c right now & heading to a rather warm & sunny 29c.
Yesterday didn’t go to plan at all, too much faffing around by me meant I didn’t do my balance class, nor did I go swimming . I did make my new little inground composter & set that up & moved the other inground composter I have, to a new spot. So I did actually do something but it was certainly a very slack day for me compared to my usual.
This morning is clean & dust the house & then head for a swim, probably straight after lunch. Young Miss 7 was going to be spending the day with me, but decided she wanted to go to work with her Daddy instead. He’s a concreter, so I think she will get very messy , but she’ll enjoy her one on one time with him.

The natural climate pattern La Niña started to make her presence felt last fall. Now, she's on her way out. According to a new National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration report, things have shifted into a "neutral" phase, which is forecast to last into at least early fall. Forecasters are predicting an active hurricane season and above average temperatures nearly everywhere in the U.S. aside from the Pacific Northwest and parts of the Northern Tier. Looks like Seattle and Tacoma are already being pounded by massive rainstorms. And they are moving my way.

So much for taking a hike this afternoon. I'll just walk the dog around in my little patch of forest and call it good.

The Canadian government has it's own weather app for your phone.

You can download WeatherCan, then after it's installed, you can press and hold down on it to bring up the widgets panel, and replace your current American weather widget.

SO... we're expecting a wet, snowy, slippery, slushy drive home.

BUT it's still just clouds and no precipitation around here for now.

So I can't work my magic and subtly nudge my managers to let us out a little early to help us avoid the long, messy drive home.

Drive home should be fun...

Good morning tooters. A bit slow getting going today, but all good. It was a warm night & is around 16c right now, quite cloudy out but no rain around & heading up to 27c. It is going to stay unseasonably warm for at least another week, which has me wondering if we’re in for a mild winter .
I had the oven on early & baked a loaf of #Sourdough first thing today, fresh bread for lunch . Not doing much today & what I will be doing is just for me, a Balance class this morning & a swim after lunch. So an easy peasy enjoyable day.
