Our visit to Buenos Aires in 2016 coincided with the arrival of the President for the opening of parliament. As a result there were road closures throughout the capital both to facilitate the arrival of official vehicles and to keep the large protest groups away. Our tour that should have largely been by bus ended up being largely on foot through wide roads in the capital city devoid of traffic and often with barricades of police in the distance. A slightly surreal but enjoyable experience.

This is Casa Rosada- the "Pink House" - the Argentine president's official workplace, located at one end of Plaza de Mayo. We never saw any trouble and the police didn't care about couples, individuals, or our obvious tourist group wandering around and passing through barricades. We also didn't see any use of the numerous water cannons that had been set up along one side-street.

We're on a wide road in a city. There are no cars present and we're looking across a T-junction to a large building on the corner with the road in front blocked off by a set of small, black metal bollards linked by chain and by five police officers standing equally-spaced across with a few more in the background. The police are there in a precautionary matter and aren't stopping pairs and individuals from walking around in the background between them and the building. The building is wide but fairly low, mostly over two storeys except for its central section where it reaches three storeys over a huge, arched entranceway. The most notable element of the building is its colour; a pink-red rose colour. The style of the building with more Romanesque-style elements of columns and arches to the left of the archway with later Italianate style to the right suggests this was originally two separate buildings joined. It's an overcast day but it feels warm.

Entiendo que esto se estaría compartiendo bajo la premisa de la lucha contra el #capitalismo cosa con la cual estoy muy de acuerdo.

¿Pero quiero saber realmente cómo hacer una Molotov / Bomba Incendiaria? No sé si la imagen promueve información real sobre la preparación pero mi pregunta a nivel personal sí es real.

No hace mucho acá en #Argentina hubo un #femicidio / #lesbicidio terrible donde prendieron fuego a 4 personas, 3 murieron y una estaba gravemente herida. Esto fue el año pasado y yo perdí el hilo de la noticia así que no sé qué ocurrió con esa última persona si sobrevivió o no, si el sospechoso fue encarcelado, no lo sé, debería buscar qué ocurrió pero igual ya me lo puedo imaginar sabiendo cómo es esta realidad.

Volviendo al tema, cuando leí la noticia fue muy indignante para mi, avergonzante y sobre todo había mucho enojo, bronca y un sentimiento de venganza y retribución enormes donde llegué a imaginarme prendiendo fuego a la persona responsable (como dije no estaba confirmado si el apresado era el autor del hecho, yo simplemente me imaginaba un personaje random que recibiera mi descargo).

¿Pero cuál es mi límite? ¿Qué tanto daño sería capaz de hacer por X motivo? ¿Prender fuego un objeto? Sí, podría ser, aunque luego rogaría que el fuego se quede en el objeto y no se expanda ¿A una persona? Creo que jamas (y ese «creo» me preocupa un poco), a pesar de que hay quienes nos lastiman sin remordimiento alguno y de muchas maneras ¿Darle una paliza alguien? Aquí ya sí se me ocurren casos en los cuales aceptaría golpear a alguien o algo buscando generar un daño moderado pero considerable. Pero nuevamente ¿Cuál es mi límite?

Me da un miedo que la vida me lleve a tener que averiguarlo.
