This is insane.

The U.S. joined russia, Belarus, and North Korea in voting against a UN General Assembly resolution condemning russian aggression against Ukraine.

The resolution, introduced by Luxembourg and Lithuania, was supported by 105 countries.

@cstross not only them, Portugal and Germany also started to reconsidering their #f35 deal. We should buy it in Czechia too. So far our gov stick to the deal, but voices against are rasing. And yes, why should we buy system which can be grounded by decision of #crazy #egomaniac in #whitehouse ? Its better to buy #eu solution even though its not so sophisticated.

At work I have a private slack channel, #crazy-uncle-martys-happy-fun-learning-adventure-hour. Every engineering IC who’s ever been in our department is a member. It is explicitly no-managers-allowed.

We just had to “kick someone out” for the first time in the four-plus years the channel has existed.

(She just became a manager, and we’re all very proud of her, and she left the channel of her own accord. We made a big deal about it for fun, after I made sure she was okay with it.)

So… there is old running joke in my language and country that if a man has too much free time, he should make a kid for himself to raise.. and if you want to completely screw your free time available, get a dog too. I have got both for a while… and since today, a second poodle is in da house! #crazy
