Door 3 hid a dram of a very Christmas-y spirit: Glencadam Reserva PX, a no-age-statement single malt finished in ex-Pedro Ximénez casks. Plummy and figgy on the nose, with a bit of nutmeg and other spices; big sherry flavor on the palate with dark chocolate, cherries, dark fruits, and treacle; the spices come back out for the finish, along with some coffee(?) notes. 46% ABV, and looks like good bang for your buck. 1/2
