Thinking of setting up a local creating coding club of some sort. Maybe queer focused, maybe not. Would probably be a monthly meet up to begin with.
Hebden Bridge probably, reasonable transport links with Manchester / Leeds.

Just been made aware of "Wuthering Bytes" Technology Festival at Hebden Bridge 25 Aug to 3rd Sept. More info https://witheringbytes.com There is an #OpenSource camp, talks and workshops. A bit of a trek from #Hitchin but looks like a really interesting event! I have decamped to #HebdenBridge in #WestYorkshire for a couple of days to see a friend. It is beautiful here. Lots of amazing walking around the hills. And a ton of these cobbled roadways up to various farmhouses.
