Microsoft launching a "research project" to track AI data sources *now* is completely meaningless. The models are already trained on YOUR stolen data.
This is like robbing a bank and then "exploring" ways to return *some* of the cash... maybe. Pure theater. Don't fall for it.

Ja, das sind alles Argumente dafür bei #BigTech zu bleiben. Ist ja auch OK. Aber bitte nicht BigTech ablehnen wollen und es im gleichen Atemzug empfehlen. Also einerseits #UnplugTrump, aber dann doch Signal.

PS: Für mich persönlich funktioniert Signal sowieso nicht, weil es nur auf Google Android und Apple iOS läuft, die ich beide nicht nutze(n will). Weg von #BigTech und so…

Es ging im Original-Post um #UnplugTrump und "weg von #BigTech". Signal hat sicherlich Vorzüge gegenüber WA, u.a. kann man dem Ladens wohl mehr vertrauen als Mark Z. Aber im Hinblick auf #digitaleSouveränität hat man nichts gewonnen. Das hat mit Moral nichts zu tun, sondern ist einfach so.
Es gibt außer #Jabber natürlich noch viele andere freie, föderierte Optionen. Ich habe diese genannt, weil ich sie kenne und nutze.
