Our veterinary practice has been sold to the corporation. They are nice people there, I've used them for over 25 years
Three years ago Badger had to have dentistry including an extraction. The cost including tax came to just over $650.
When we took her in for her anal gland issue this week the really nice vet who examined her said she was in need of some dentistry again. So I asked for a quote which you see here. I called them, to be sure that I had read this correctly. It is a general quote, but it could be roughly $2000 plus tax. Will not be less than $1500, I'd guess. That's plus tax and roughly 3 times the bill last time.
Quite a difference from 3 years ago. And not doable, if you factor in say 3 years between these bills and 3 cats. You'd have to be budgeting $2000 a year for dental work for 3 cats.
How do people manage?
