Charlotte Aten<p>I was a bit slow on this one, but I finally disabled Google Maps on my phone! I've been using Organic Maps (<a href="https://organicmaps.app/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="">organicmaps.app/</span><span class="invisible"></span></a>) for a little while now and I've had a great experience. I just have two issues:</p><p>1) Unless I download Organic Maps from the Google Play Store, I can't use it with Android Auto when I'm in a car. I want to disconnect from Google, so this is not ideal.<br>2) It seems like <span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://fosstodon.org/@organicmaps" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>organicmaps</span></a></span> is the official Mastodon account, but they don't have their website verified.</p><p>It only took a few minutes to copy the places I had saved on Google Maps into a note in <a href="https://mathstodon.xyz/tags/Fossify" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Fossify</span></a> Notes (<a href="https://www.fossify.org/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://www.</span><span class="">fossify.org/</span><span class="invisible"></span></a>). Antes he compartido un link a la web de #SimpleMobileTools con apps sencillas para Android sin publicidad y sin permisos innecesarios (Calendario, Contactos, Archivos, Galería y Mensajes)

Lo he borrado y comparto el link a #Fossify, que es un fork de esas apps y que es mejor porque 1) Simple Mobile Tools tenía vinculación con Israel y 2) Las apps ya no tienen actualizaciones, y las de Fossify sí.

I've been curious about the Duoqin F22 (non-pro) for a while, but was hesitant to try it as I had already experimented with several, let's say "non-traditional" phones, and kept going back to my also not traditional Unihertz Jelly Star, which I've been using as my daily phone for the past two years or so.

Well, curiosity got the better of me. So... hi? 😄

@Tutanota ho molte pianificazioni settimanali e circa 10 calendari. Appena gestirete la pianificazione settimanale con possibilità di selezionare i singoli giorni della settimana, farò upgrade ad abbonamento. Per il momento calendario #fossify in locale con esportazione di backup su @filen

Tydzień po zaktualizowaniu mojej Moto g(6) (ali) do #LineageOS 19.1, czas na krótkie podsumowanie.

Na plus:
• poprawki bezpieczeństwa — stockowy firmware skończył się na kwietniu 2020,
• system zdaje się być szybszy — co niejako mnie zaskakuje, bo spodziewałem się, że skok trzy wersje Androida do przodu wykończy ten budżetowy telefon
• GPS lepiej działa — w końcu przestaje gubić całkiem zasięg przy odblokowaniu ekranu albo przełączaniu aplikacji
• brak śmieci w standardzie — nie muszę wszystkiego podmieniać na #Fossify (choć niektóre aplikacje dalej warto)
• zmotywowałem się, by ustawić synchronizację kalendarza i kontaktów po CalDAV/CardDAV (tylko dlatego, że kalendarz AOSP nie ma importu z *.ics)
• nowszy Android to większa dostępność aplikacji, m.in. Slack (nie pytajcie)
• w końcu mogę wyłączyć dane komórkowe, nie odblokowując ekranu

Na minus, ale udało się rozwiązać:
• zmniejszyłem wielkość interfejsu, powiększyłem fonty, by skompensować, i da się tego Androida używać
• udało mi się skonfigurować moją starą klawiaturę Multiling O tak, by wyszła ponad czarny pasek, więc to też uratowane
• znalazłem tapetę, przy której kolory motywu są sensowne (choć wciąż mnie wnerwia, że nie mogę swobodnie ustawiać)

Na minus:
• utrata aparatu Moto — niestety Open Camera to nie to samo, i póki co nie znalazłem żadnej aplikacji, która robi zdjęcia HDR równie szybko jak stockowa
• nie działa regulacja głośności połączenia — cały czas jest maksymalna
• już kilka razy mi się zrestartował, jak go odkładałem do etui
• gubienie zasięgu też się zdarza, ale to też na stockowym było (postęp…)
• mObywatel nie działa — choć może to zaleta…
• zdaje się, że ze zużyciem pamięci jest gorzej — ale to może być kwestia, że Open Camera zużywa więcej pamięci
• czasem przypadkiem uruchamiam gesty przy brzegach ekranu (włączenie ich to jedyny sposób na ukrycie paska nawigacji — choć są zbędne, bo nawigację mam na czytniku linii papilarnych)

boladasso! Descobri que, aparentemente, o dev (Tibbi) da Simple Mobile Tools vendeu toda base de dados (usuários?) para uma tal de zipoapps, os apps da simple mobile tools eram famosinhos no meio #foss por conta de respeitarem a privacidade das pessoas usuárias... (isso faz +-1 ano)

Meu app do simple contacts deu um bug, desinstalei, quando fui reinstalar, não achava mais o app no fdroid, dei uma pesquisada e achei comentários indicando a venda: github.com/SimpleMobileTools/G.

Indicavam também para desinstalar os apps da SMT e partir para o projeto derivado: #fossify github.com/FossifyOrg que busca preservar a ética do software livre e que protege a privacidade das pessoas usuárias.

Bem, iniciando os testes dos novos apps, atualmente da SMT eu uso o phone, calendar, sms e contacts... afff

Fossify, el grupo de aplicaciones open source para Android que crearon tras la venta de Simple, ha actualizado su calendario y ahora ya están corregidos los errores de la versión en español :)

Por cierto, recomiendo mucho esta 'suite'. Incluye también teléfono, contactos, sms, teclado, cámara, calculadora, lanzador, galería, notas, reloj-alarma-temporizador, administrador de archivos, grabadora, reproductor para música...
